Local 2428 Approved Constitution 2025
AFSCME Local 2428 Constitution was approved by AFSCME International on August 26, 2025.

Comprehensive Tentative Agreement
On July 16th, our Local voted to ratify the Comprehensive Tentative Agreement regarding seasonal and temporary workers. The end result was a plurality of voting members supporting the ratification. That moves the Tentative Agreement to the next step, sending it to the Board of Directors for approval. Pending Board approval it will be adopted. If the Board does not approve it then we return to the table with management to re-negotiate.

Dear Members, Over the weekend, your E-Board held a special meeting to select and vote to appoint a new president from candidates who expressed interest and submitted their letter of said interest.
