Members of AFSCME Local 2428!  I hope you are all enjoying this outstanding weather. Thank you to everyone that attended the membership meeting last week and the paystub info session the week prior. Many people couldn't make it to the paystub info session and asked for the information shared. I've tried to type them up in a way that makes sense, but it's a confusing topic, so I apologize if the document is hard to follow. Here it is: 

Hello AFSCME members, The nomination period for Officers and Delegates closed on Wednesday, June 3rd at the General Membership meeting. All uncontested positions are officially elected. The Elections Committee convened on July 7th to count ballots for President and E-Board at Large and the results were announced at the July 8th Membership meeting. Thank you to the Elections Committee!
