Members of AFSCME Local 2428!  I hope you are all enjoying this outstanding weather. Thank you to everyone that attended the membership meeting last week and the paystub info session the week prior. Many people couldn't make it to the paystub info session and asked for the information shared. I've tried to type them up in a way that makes sense, but it's a confusing topic, so I apologize if the document is hard to follow. Here it is: 

Hello AFSCME members, The nomination period for Officers and Delegates closed on Wednesday, June 3rd at the General Membership meeting. All uncontested positions are officially elected. There are two contested positions: President and E Board at Large. Members will be receiving their ballots the week of June 15th. Follow the directions outlined on the ballot and mail to AFSCME Council 57 Concord office using the envelope provided. Ballots must be received by Monday, July 6th and the results will be reported at the July 8th membership meeting. If a runoff election is necessary, it will take place at the July membership meeting.
